I’ve always been an adventure-seeker. My first job was a scientist with CDC working in bioterorrism but I didn’t want to spend my life in the lab. I moved into business, working and going to school to get my MBA. I wanted to travel and live abroad and after taking my final exam in 2010, I took a one-way flight to the UK. For the next 9 years I lived in the UK, working and travelling around EMEA.
In 2012, my partner and I took a year off to travel around the world. We travelled for 11 months, visited 21 countries, did 100+ dives, and reached the 6500m summit of Island Peak in Nepal. We explored, connected, learned and came away with a view of the world that would change how we saw the world.
I returned to work in marketing and business development, I enjoyed promotions and travel but never felt like I was in the right place. In 2019, I returned to the USA for a dream job in the marine industry. I was thriving on the outside, but unsettled on the inside.
Despite my career, my loving family, a comfortable home and a passport full of stamps, I found myself feeling more stress and finally asking, ‘Is there more to life?’ What am I really striving for?
These questions led me on a deep journey of self-discovery, where I began to truly know myself for the first time, exploring who I truly am and what I genuinely want. I discovered a passion for helping others find this space—space to connect with themselves, to uncover their purpose, and build a life filled with balance, fulfillment and joy.
